Mobile recreation is a unit of the county park system that provides outreach services, inflatables, climbing towers, stages, bleachers and buses to our 62 cities, villages and townships and our 13 county parks. Under general supervision, is responsible for setting up and facilitating mobile recreation visits. Work with adults, children and families to provide customer satisfaction and enjoyable memories. Ensures the safety of all participants and spectators. May also help with department-wide special events.
At the time of application, applicant must:
1. Be at least 16 years old and a high school graduate; OR have completed the State requirements for a G.E.D. certificate; OR be an emancipated minor; OR have passed their 18th birthday.
2. Possess a valid United States motor vehicle operator’s or chauffeur’s license. Out of country driver’s license holders will be required to obtain the appropriate valid State of Michigan driver’s license before the hire date.
3. Pass the complete examination, including the employment medical, established for this classification.
