Job Title: Associate Lighting Supervisor
Classification: Full Time, Year-Round, Exempt

Schedule: This position traditionally works Monday-Friday, between the hours of 8:00 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. with occasional evenings/weekends to support the tech/preview process as determined by Lighting Supervisor
Reports to: Lighting Supervisor
Compensation: $37,250 – $38,750
Cleveland Play House (CPH) is seeking an Associate Lighting Supervisor to join the production team.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist the Lighting Supervisor (LS) in all aspects of planning and preparing the installation of the Light Plot for all CPH shows, CPH/CWRU MFA shows and special events.
- Supervise IATSE crew during all work calls; including prep, hang, focus, notes, and strike.
- Work with LS to create daily work note lists.
- Train and coach follow, spot operators, as needed for production.
- Maintain current updated equipment inventories.
- Configure MIDI show control to network control signal from EOS to audio/video consoles.
- Professionally represent Cleveland Play House to outside personnel including visiting artists, and patrons.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Attend and participate in all assigned staff training sessions, department meetings, show-specific trainings and potential committee or affinity groups within the organization.
Desired experience and skills include:
- Proficient in Vectorworks 2021+ and Lightwright 6
- Familiar with ETC EOS family control systems 3.0+
- Ability to set-up and trouble-shoot MIDI show control
- Familiar with DMX controlled fixtures, LED technology, and W-DMX systems
- Experience leading, managing, or supervising teams or work crews
- Working knowledge of stage rigging, basic electricity, and electrical wiring
- Successful experience in engaging and supporting EDIA initiatives
This position will primarily work in collaboration with: Lighting Supervisor, Head Electrician, Light Board Operator, Electrics Crew
