POSITION SUMMARY:
The Generative AI Researcher intern’s role is to conduct research on the use of generative AI (GAI) platforms to assist in marketing functions like creative production, content brainstorming and creation, reporting and analysis, productivity, and billing. We are seeking a responsible intern to join our growing organization, who can do independent research and work collaboratively with our marketing team. This intern must have a passion for AI technology, developing and integrating AI use cases, as well as have a keen interest in exploring and keeping up to date with new technologies. This role will help us to integrate AI into work processes through a collaborative effort between marketing and research teams.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- The ideal candidate should be familiar with AI technology, machine learning (ML), and data science. Have a keen interest in exploring their potential for applications in marketing, i.e. ideation and creation
- Have a deep desire to learn how to craft effective prompts that can help AI generate ideas and high-quality content across various domains in the early stages of the creative process
- Craft, test and modify prompt instructions and, document learnings
- The ability to introduce and drive successful AI integration in an advertising firm
- The ability to implement automation workflows to drive operational efficiencies
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- In person 20 hours a week
- Excellent research, analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to identify patterns, trends and insights from data (data analysis work experience and/or having done work on AI/ML/ data science projects in the past
- Programming experience
- Strong communication, collaboration and project management skills
- Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work through problems
- Ability to present findings and insights as well as communicate information clearly and concisely to our internal team
- Be a strategic thinker and a self-starter who must be able to work independently
PHYSICAL REQIREMENTS:
Low physical effort required to sit, stand at files, bend, stoop, lift, and walk. Maximum unassisted lift = 35lbs. Average lift less than 10lbs. Requires ability to use a keyboard, monitor and calculator. Also requires the ability to communicate verbally, both in person and on the telephone. May require traveling by car to clients.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Typical office environment, with minimal exposure to excessive noise or adverse environmental issues.
